The Center for School Based Mental Health Programs (CSBMHP) and the Ohio Mental Health Network for School Success (OMHNSS) are working to identify and evaluate successful programs for meeting the behavioral needs of students and ultimately improving student academic achievement.
The Quality and Effective Practice Registry is a listing of successful strategies and programs across Ohio that achieve positive outcomes related to academic and social-emotional needs of K-12 students. This registry highlights the work being done in schools and through school- mental health partnerships, as well as, research-based promising practices that are demonstrating effective implementation.

All schools and community agencies that are engaged in an effective practice, program, strategy, process, or service are invited and encouraged to apply for recognition in the Quality and Effective Practice Registry.
Participation in this registry will be by competitive application. We are eager to secure diverse participation from across Ohio.

Applications will be reviewed and top-ranked programs will be asked to participate in interviews with OMHNSS associates. Programs will be evaluated by a team of three to five CSBMHP/ OMHNSS members and will be rated based on evaluation
Programs successfully meeting the registry criteria will be invited to join the Quality and Effective Practice Registry and an opportunity for cross-state engagement of the network will be arranged.
